Planned Giving Officer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior experience in related role required with knowledge of various planned giving instruments and applicable tax law. Possesses good communication skills, relates well to the general public, staff, residents, clients, family members, and professional peers. Works independently, is well-organized, and is able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Description: Identifies and meets one-to-one with current and prospective donors to build relationships, explain planned giving opportunities and invite support. Maintains working relationships with deferred gift administrators and coordinates planned giving educational sessions. Executes marketing and cultivation strategies for planned giving. Responsible for setting planned giving goals in line with Advancement Plan, monitoring progress and working to achieve results.

Part-time 32 hours bi-weekly, primarily day shift
