I am extremely grateful for the dedicated team who have worked tirelessly in the face of this pandemic. But the fight to keep the virus out of all Landis Communities affiliates has caused a serious budget shortfall. Security check-points. Masks, gloves & gowns. Extra staff to serve meals, deliver groceries and conduct screenings. Reduced admissions to hold rooms in case someone gets sick.
Restricting team members to only serve at one affiliate at a time. Closing Adult Day Services.
NONE OF THESE WERE IN THE BUDGET.
So I’m hoping – asking — will you please send a special gift to Landis Communities by June 30 – the end of our fiscal year? Your shortfall-erasing gift will help older adults receive the care and services they need. The shortfall is a big one, likely more than half a million dollars. But generous donors like you will help keep Landis Communities strong.
Your gift on or before June 30 will help erase the Coronavirus budget shortfall and help meet the urgent needs of an older adult.
If this is not a good time for you to make a financial contribution, we certainly understand. We ask that you please continue to pray for residents, clients and team members to stay healthy and safe.
Your gift by June 30 to the Coronavirus Emergency Fund will erase the shortfall and ensure that Landis Communities remains strong.
That deadline is most important.
You can donate securely online HERE.
Thank you in advance for helping erase the shortfall and for being an incredible part of the Landis Communities family.
Please stay well,
Larry J. Zook,
President & CEO
PS. Your gift will help erase the shortfall if received before our fiscal year ends on midnight, June 30. Your help is needed, and your gift makes a difference!
