In the heart of downtown Lancaster, Landis Place on King demonstrates that sustainability and modern living can go hand in hand.

Green Roof: The living roof captures rainfall, diverting about 165,000 gallons of stormwater from city sewers each year.
High-Efficiency Systems: All-electric VRF heat pumps and high-efficiency appliances provide energy-saving comfort throughout the building.
NGBS Gold Certification: The community earned National Green Building Standard Gold certification, recognizing leadership in energy, water, and air quality.

Welsh Mountain Home

At Welsh Mountain Home, sustainability begins with honoring the past.

Historic Reuse: The century-old building has been carefully preserved and upgraded, reducing waste and extending the life of existing materials while improving comfort for residents.

Mountain View Terrace

At Mountain View Terrace, sustainability starts right beneath the surface and continues throughout the building’s design.

Geothermal Wells: Sixteen underground wells provide efficient heating and cooling for all 36 apartments, using the earth’s steady temperature instead of fossil fuels.
Solar Energy: Photovoltaic solar panels generate a portion of the building’s electricity, reducing reliance on nonrenewable power.
Sustainable Materials: Recycled and engineered wood products were used during construction to minimize waste and support long-term environmental stewardship.

Steeple View Lofts

At Steeple View Lofts, thoughtful design choices make downtown living both comfortable and environmentally responsible.

Pervious Paving: Permeable surfaces around the property allow rainwater to soak naturally into the ground, reducing runoff and helping protect Lancaster’s stormwater system.
Triple-Pane Windows: Energy-efficient triple-pane windows improve insulation, reduce noise, and help maintain steady indoor temperatures year-round.
