Margaret Said Adult Day Services Changed Her for the Better

Peppy and sociable, Margaret attends Landis Adult Day Services every day of the week. She grew up in Lancaster County and still resides in Lancaster with her daughter. The last several years, she experienced some painful losses that changed her life.

“My son passed away when he was only 32 years old. Four years ago, my husband also passed away,” Margaret shared. “I gave up my license last year too.”

A bus brings Margaret to the center every day. Her face lights up when she shares about how her time at ADS helps her stay active and make friends. Thank you for giving to support ADS and bringing joy to Margaret’s life.

“Thankfully, my daughter found ADS and I love it. Coming here has changed how I feel at home and my personality for the better. I enjoy being here – the friendly people, the good food, and the activities! Yesterday, we played horseshoes, but I also like to do crossword puzzles, play cards, and exercise.”
