Because of You, Steve’s Family Received Care and He was able to Continue Being Active in Church

Steve and his family came from Limerick, PA. Steve and his brother both have unique health needs and, as their parents grew older, they were concerned about making sure that both of their sons had an affordable place to call home.

Because of you, all four of them were able to move into Welsh Mountain Home at one time! It was the first time an entire family moved in, and Welsh Mountain Home was everything they were looking for in both care and affordability.

Steve’s parents have since passed on, but he and his brother continue to reside there. One of Steve’s favorite things to do is attend church every week and devotions held every day.

“It was a miracle all of us were able to move in at the same time. I’m thankful for that. I also grew up in the church, so attending church is something I enjoy. I know a lot about the Bible but I’m still growing spiritually,” Steve shared.

Steve has memorized monologues from the Bible. After his parents passed away, Steve wondered how the monologues would look if people were to act them out. He worked with the pastor of Mountain Spring Mennonite church and they arranged for the monologue and the presentation to happen!
