Landis Place on King is a groundbreaking project in the heart of Lancaster City and will provide much-needed middle-income housing for older adults. It will be a mixed-use building with 79 apartments, 40 interior parking spaces, and commercial space. It is located at 237-245 West King Street with the rear of the building along Grant Street. The building’s design reflects West King Street and the broader neighborhood, while creating its own style and presence, making it a fresh, contemporary addition to the diverse architecture in downtown Lancaster. Adding a building like this is another step in keeping the Central Business District vibrant and growing.

Landis Place on King proposed building

Landis Place on King is a unique housing choice because of the access to services – if desired – that allow older adults to age in the comfort of their own homes. An on-site care navigator will assist residents with things like scheduling healthcare appointments and managing insurance claims, which can be daunting as adults age. Physical health and wellness, social wellbeing and lifelong learning are all key elements of the community that will exist at Landis Place on King.
